For
those who are recycling your yard waste into compost, I applaud you more than
you can imagine.
Creating compost is really easy. All you need is some grass clippings and leaves. To spice things up, you can add a shovel full of soil from a planter bed once in a while. The soil has bacteria that will speed up the process to create the compost.
Available at your local nursery are compost starters. These do the same thing that shovel full of soil does.
Keep a water hose near by when composting. Your compost should be moist, not wet. And make plans to turn your compost pile at least 3 times a week, more if possible.
When you combine all the things we just discussed together, you can achieve great compost results in as little as two weeks. Keep up the good work!
